Allison (Allie) Clark is a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW. Allie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work/Sociology (BA), a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Master's of Social Work (MSW). Allie began her practice consulting in the field of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (therapy using horses), focusing on work with first responders, helping professionals, and their families. Allie's clinical experience includes working with individuals who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, compassion fatigue, and trauma/PTSD. Allie has additional training and experience providing counselling for trauma and PTSD, Narrative Therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy. Allie provides counselling services to adolescents and adults and practices in Orillia, ON at The Colborne Street Clinic and in Muskoka, ON at Muskoka Mind + Body
Allie's approach to counselling is honest and compassionate; incorporating elements of art, mindfulness, and meditation to establish meaningful coping strategies, explore relationship difficulties, and process experiences of trauma.
